Digital templating system...

Before technological advancements in the field of stone fabrication, countertop templates were created by cutting and laying out thin wooden strips over areas where stone would be installed. At Ceramic Harmony, we use state-of-the-art templating technologies that enable exact point placement of an area. This creates digital templates and ensures a custom, snug fit for stone pieces. These digital templates can also be used without a digital slab layout system. Clients can virtually lay out their templates on the actual stone slabs to be cut. They will be able to see a preview of the seams and patterns of the finished products that will be installed.

Waterjet Cutting technology...

One of the key players in our fabrication facility is the waterjet cutting machine.  A waterjet machine uses highly pressurized water mixed with an abrasive to cut many types of materials. This technology is digitally driven, which creates endless design possibilities for stone, glass or tile applications. Our waterjet also features a 5-axis cutting head, which enables angled cutting. This provides miter-cutting capability, allowing for thick, monolithic-looking countertop edges.

CNC edging technology...

Another asset to our fabrication process is our CNC router. This machine also utilizes the digital files acquired during the templating process, and makes the countertop edging process much more efficient. That gives our skilled craftsman more time to concentrate on the detailed finish work that must be crafted by hand.

Handwork...

We consider the most important part of our process to be our skilled craftsmen. It takes a keenly trained eye and years of hands-on experience to achieve the level of craftsmanship that we strive for. Our craftsmen are able to do anything, from re-polishing an entire slab to meticulously colormatching natural materials when pieces of a project need to be glued or mended.
